About Mike Barber

I am an Air Force veteran, full-time public communicator and part-time tennis instructor.

Skills

Thanks to the Air Force and government, I have acquired, over a 20+ year career, the following skills: Time and organizational management, press release development, strategic communications, IT support, executive calendar management, and more.

Tennis

I fell in love with the sport of tennis during my high school years in Whitney Point, New York. In June 1995, I began a 10-year, full-time tennis teaching career, receiving certifications from the U.S. Professional Tennis Association and Professional Tennis Registry. After transitioning to a new career in the Air Force, I continued helping players of all ages and abilities learn tennis on a part-time basis.

I currently teach tennis in Manteo, North Carolina. Email mike@mikecbarber.com, if you're interested in learning the 'sport for a lifetime.'
